Why You'll Love This Place

A Here Comes The Guide Wedding Venue Review
  • Grand, but not oversized. Historic, but not stuffy. Spiritual, but not iconographic. This gorgeous Unitarian Universalist church offers the perfect blend of qualities to make a uniquely wonderful wedding venue. Comprised of a beautiful Sanctuary, an airy ballroom, two garden courtyards, and a charming terrace, there are endless options for gatherings small and not-so-small. And, in keeping with the congregation's inclusive philosophy, loving couples of all faiths and sexual orientations are warmly welcomed here.
  • The jewel of the campus is the exquisite Sanctuary, a 1930 Spanish Revival-style gem that evokes peace and joyful serenity, making it the perfect setting to exchange lifelong vows.  Vintage lantern-style light fixtures suspended from the open beams of the 50-foot vaulted ceilings create a warm glow, while at the front, the chancel is softly illuminated by a breathtaking stained-glass rose window in radiant jewel tones.
  • The serene Parish Courtyard is ideal for al fresco receptions. Well-placed foliage provides filtered shade, and at the right time of year a grand magnolia tree shows off delicately fragrant flowers. Through a triple-arched breezeway, you'll find the Mission-inspired Parish Hall, with its light-flooded windows, hardwood dance floor, and wrought-iron chandeliers. Intimate receptions are often held on the open-air Terrace, where glowing bistro lights add a romantic flair.
