Why You'll Love This Place
A Here Comes The Guide Wedding Venue Review
Perched on one of the highest points in North Orange County and encircled by 12 acres of Fullerton's Vista Park, the Summit House is one of the most romantic wedding locations in Southern California. No matter where you stand on the grounds, a spectacular panorama inspires you: To the north loom the San Gabriel and San Bernardino mountains; to the east are the Santa Anas; to the south and west are the Laguna Hills and the sparkling Pacific. As night falls and the lights begin twinkling in the valley below, you can easily imagine yourself adrift on a sea of stars.
Equally inspiring is the Summit House Restaurant itself. Built in the tradition of an English country manor, its classic Old World architecture has the appearance and appeal of a much older, wiser structure. Lush sycamores shade the manicured lawns and rose gardens surrounding the building, and it all creates a beautiful setting for the ceremony.
The bride and her party can spend the day preparing in the Summit House's newly completed bridal suite. When she's ready, it's just a short stroll to the wedding gazebo, decorated according to her wishes. As she and her groom exchange vows, they can look out over all their guests seated in the open-air amphitheater carved into the hillside.
After the ceremony, guests may wander around the park or sip champagne on the outside patios before they slip into the Grand Summit Ballroom for the reception. With delicate cream-colored walls, coffered ceilings and pewter chandeliers, the spacious ballroom seats a crowd comfortably. Light flows in through enormous bay windows and oversized French doors, and let's not forget the panoramic view! If your guest list requires more room, a movable wall rolls aside, giving you access to the equally attractive Queen's Room and adjoining patio.
To ensure that your big day is glitch-free, the Summit House provides both a catering and a ceremony coordinator. And what amazing food and service! No wonder this facility has such a great reputation. Truth is, the Summit House will go the whole nine yards to accommodate your wildest wish, whether you want to arrive in a roaring cavalcade of Harleys, as one couple did, or simply leave the old-fashioned way in a horse and buggy. And included in every wedding package is an invitation for the newlyweds to return on their first anniversary to celebrate the special occasion all over again and relive their magical memories, compliments of the Summit House.
