A babbling creek cuts through the dramatic canyon walls, bordered by tranquil trails perfect for pre-wedding exploration (or post-nuptial photos!).
- At the heart of the park is the Rancho, the oldest known home in San Diego. The small adobe structure was part of the first Mexican land grant in the area, constructed by Presidio comandante Francisco María Ruiz in 1823. Today, it's a lovely backdrop for your "I do"s.
- The charming courtyard is a popular setting for al fresco receptions, studded with stone planters, soaring palms, and a pretty fountain. While your guests mingle here, you can sneak away to snap pics among the historic outbuildings, the tree-lined paths, and the large pond, which is backed by a wall of prickly pear.
