Few places are as magical as the renowned Mission Inn Hotel & Spa. With its dazzling Spanish architecture and European charm, this extraordinary castle-like venue is the place for a fairytale wedding.
As you walk through its iconic bell-tower entrance, you're transported to a world of timeless romance. Beauty is everywhere in the form of fountains, statues, carved pillars, balconies, spiral staircases, and gardens—as well as in the unique event spaces.
Ceremonies are breathtaking in the St. Francis of Assisi Chapel, exquisitely embellished with seven jewel-toned Tiffany stained-glass windows and a gleaming, 18-karat gold leafed altar from the mid 1700s. When the chapel's huge wooden doors are opened and sunlight streams in, the bride is spotlighted in a special glow as she makes her entrance. Two courtyards are also available for outdoor weddings.
Large receptions are held in the Grand Parisian Ballroom, which resembles a baronial hall in an Old World castle. Sumptuous details include custom-woven wool carpeting inspired by the French Aubusson rugs of the 17th and 18th centuries, damask draperies framing the room's stained-glass windows, and eight spectacular crystal chandeliers suspended from the original beamed ceiling.
The Spanish Art Gallery is ideal for groups of up to 120. Richly appointed with regal 17th-century European décor and an elegant gold palette, it's a sophisticated space featuring an impressive marble staircase and a flowing ceiling canopy.
For an intimate celebration, reserve the charming Santa Barbara Room. Traditional wrought-iron and glass light fixtures create a cozy ambiance, while sheer drapes diffuse the light from tall windows overlooking both the picturesque interior courtyard of the Hotel and the Oriental Court.
