Why You'll Love This Place

A Here Comes The Guide Wedding Venue Review

The picturesque lake region high up in the richly forested San Bernardino Mountains is a favorite Southland destination, attracting skiers, boaters, nature lovers, and engaged couples longing to tie the knot amid unspoiled surroundings. The premier venue for year-round weddings and social events in this scenic landscape is the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa. The full-service AAA Four Diamond Resort occupies a prime location along the lakeshore. What's more, it has numerous possibilities for large and small celebrations that showcase the area's seasonal charms.

The wood deck in the resort's Lakeside Lawn is a spectacular spot to exchange vows, especially in the springtime when butterflies, songbirds, and blooming foliage are sweet accompaniments. Towering pines flank each side of the deck, and the blue water and tree-covered mountains form a panoramic backdrop. The adjacent diamond-shaped lawn can be set theater-style for the ceremony or used for receptions. In the summer, why not stage casual festivities right on the resort's private beach, and maybe even say "I do" with the warm sand between your toes? A favorite choice for indoor affairs, especially during winter months, is the Arrowhead Ballroom, whose grandeur and well-appointed detailing make for a stunning reception. Another option is the Lakeview Terrace Room, furnished with warm tones and picture windows that frame a scintillating winterscape or the burnished autumn scenery. Glass doors open out to a terrace, so your guests can enjoy an up-close vista of the shimmering lake and savor the crisp mountain air.

The Lake Arrowhead Resort can host weddings and receptions for 30 to 300 guests, and has plenty of upscale guest accommodations, too: 162 ultra-contemporary, lodge-style rooms and 11 luxurious suites with balconies or patios. Newlyweds can wallow in romance in a spacious Lakeview Suite, outfitted with a fireplace, plush bed linens and an oversize soaking tub. But what makes the resort unique to the area is its staff's ability to provide full-service coordination and catering for large gatherings. Smaller parties here are no less special: Day-after brunches or rehearsal dinners convene in the resort's fine dining restaurant, BIN189. The refined, yet relaxed, ambiance—replete with water views, a top-flight wine list and acclaimed gourmet menus—ensures a sense of occasion. The Magnum, a cozy private dining room enclosed by glass walls lined with wine bottles, is a sophisticated choice for intimate get-togethers.

Whether you've come to the resort for your wedding, honeymoon, or to relive the memories on your anniversary, be sure to experience the Spa of the Pines. With certified practitioners and nature-inspired treatments, the spa offers supreme nurturing and indulgence.

If you've got a long guest list and a penchant for the pristine alpine environment of Lake Arrowhead, look no further.
