Why You'll Love This Place

A Here Comes The Guide Wedding Venue Review
  • This eclectic DTLA greenhouse wows with a 35-foot glass roof that floods the courtyard in natural light, showcasing reclaimed brick floors and “Pax Los Angeles,” an enormous mural of the L.A. River as reimagined by artist Frohawk Two Feathers. Bursting with color, plants, and site-specific artwork, it's a truly unique space that embodies the city's past and present.
  • Say "I do" amid a jungle of palms, alocasia, and birds of paradise in the Greenhouse Courtyard, framed by soaring stained-glass archways and copper light fixtures. Cocktails follow in the funky Grotto Bar, with its wraparound copper bartop and cavern-like walls, with receptions in the adjacent Ocean Room, named for the exquisite seaweed murals and the colorful totemic sea creatures that adorn the walls.
  • Originally constructed in the 1920s, the space has been reinvented, with its original salvaged lumber, steel, and trusses now accented by vibrant greenery, contemporary design, and plenty of modern amenities. All of the updates were done with a mind towards sustainability: discarded materials were repurposed into unique furnishings, and the horticultural rooftop and levered windows take advantage of the SoCal sunshine and good weather, boosting the structure's excellent energy efficiency.
