- Tucked on 365 acres of lush native meadows, mature forests, ponds, and trickling streams, this woodsy wonderland is one of the nation's premiere urban environmental education centers... and a truly spectacular spot to say "I do." Just 30 minutes from Center City along the Schuykill River, it provides a remarkably untouched landscape for celebrations that feel rooted, personal, and as timeless as the trees.
- A range of indoor and outdoor spaces give you lots of flexibility in designing the flow of your day. Al fresco ceremonies are lovely in the Amphitheater, with its built-in stone seating and dense forest backdrop, followed by receptions beneath the cover of the rough-hewn Pavilion, or beneath twinkle lights on the Green. The Dick James Room brings the natural beauty of the outdoors in, with enormous windows framing views of the woods.
- Your fees go directly toward supporting the Center's mission of outdoor education, its wildlife clinic, and preserving its beautiful setting for future generations to enjoy. There are also plenty of eco-friendly policies that help you feel good about the process without being overwhelmed by requirements—for example, you're welcome to pick your own caterer, but encouraged to find a sustainable one!
