- Hidden among the pines and alder and the mist off Muir Beach, this cozy Tudor-style inn is a warm refuge just 20 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge. Its setting among the chaparral-covered hills evokes the English countryside, and the charming structure itself is modeled after Shakespearean-era country inns—crafted with rough-hewn timbers and stucco, and adorned with twisting vines and colorful flower boxes.
- Al fresco ceremonies might unfold on a secluded lawn bounded by manicured hedges, or in the cozy Snug Room, warmed by a fireplace, ample bookshelves, and plush furnishings... or opt to take a quick drive to the iconic Muir Beach overlook for "I do"s before the sea. Receptions are lovely in the glass conservatory, where abundant blooms and long plank tables are illuminated by soft lights to create a truly romantic atmosphere.
- You'll enjoy exclusive use of the entire property, including the Inn's seven sweet guest rooms, each uniquely designed with authentic period-inspired details like short doors, late medieval-style hinges, timbers and floor planks. Catering is in-house, and the constantly updated menu has a wide range of options including vegetarian, British, continental and California-style dishes. A superb selection of British brews and California wines is also available.
