- This verdant, lovingly restored house and property boasts a commanding vista of Richardson Bay, with four gracious terraces joined by curving brick walkways that ascend the hillside. You can use any combination of these spaces for a stunning al fresco celebration: these include a lush lawn, a bricked patio, an oval terrace, and a picturesque belvedere at the top, all with an extensive view of the water and southern Marin’s steep hills.
- Once overgrown, the lush gardens have since been exquisitely re-designed and thoughtfully tended while preserving the existing mature landscape: original redwoods, oaks, elms, walnut and fruit trees, and blooming hedges are now augmented by new plantings of crabapples, weeping cherries, Japanese maples, and colorful beds of azaleas, camellias, roses, lilacs and seasonal flowers.
- The charming 1870s cottage, clad in gray shingles with rough cedar shakes on the roof, features a sun-filled living room that opens to the original kitchen and adjoining sitting area. A small wedding or reception would fit nicely here, surrounded by the rough-hewn charm of the space and a touch of modern culture: the walls are a permanent art gallery, featuring exhibitions of paintings by local artists that change through the year.

Venue rental fees vary based on guest-count and can include:
- 8-hour exclusive use of the indoor & outdoor event space ($400 per additional hour if needed)
- Tables & chairs for up to 30 guests
$4,000 – up to 55 guests
$4,500 – up to 100 guests
$5,000 – up to 150 guests
Weekday Elopement packages are available for $1,750. This package includes a 90-minute reservation for a maximum of 20-guests.
Note that 50% of the rental fee is tax-deductible.

CEREMONY CAPACITY: The brick terrace holds 120 seated; the lawn holds 200 seated. Tenting is an additional option depending on the weather.
EVENT/RECEPTION CAPACITY: The cottage accommodates 55 guests. The larger terrace holds 70 seated, 75–85 for a buffet, or 95–110 for a cocktail party. The lawn holds 150 seated for a reception or buffet.
MEETING CAPACITY: The cottage holds up to 55 guests.
