Why You'll Love This Place

A Here Comes The Guide Wedding Venue Review

Want a wedding that’s a little urban, a bit tech, and a lot stylish? Juniper Cupertino is proof that you don’t have to go to San Francisco to carry it off. Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, this modern boutique hotel manages to be both elegant and private amid the mid-town towers of industry that surround it.

The interior of the hotel reflects a tech-focused style, favoring deep blues and grays with walnut accents. The opulent living room off the lobby makes an intimate setting for photos, with its grand fireplace and collection of roomy overstuffed sofas and armchairs. You can serve cocktails and appetizers in the expansive lobby foyer, where French doors lend an airy ambiance and creatively designed wrought-iron sconces and chandeliers cast soft illumination.

Receptions unfold in the Cali Ballroom, which echoes the rest of the hotel in the richness of its décor. Recently renovated, the space's cool blue and gray tones complement any color scheme. There's plenty of room for a band or DJ, and the hotel provides a dance floor. The Ballroom has its own sound system, and you don’t have to worry about partying too loudly—you’re far enough from the guest rooms that you won’t disturb the hotel’s other patrons. An additional option is the Parkview Ballroom, enhanced by natural light and a lovely view of the adjoining outdoor patio.

Parkview Kitchen & Spirits, Juniper Cupertino’s well-regarded restaurant, caters the events. Their menu, true to the diverse community of Silicon Valley, features fresh seasonal ingredients and an array of international delicacies imaginatively prepared with a California twist. The selection is broad enough to satisfy any preference.

Juniper Cupertino is primarily a business hotel (although it looks far too chic to be one), which means that there are usually plenty of rooms available for out-of-town guests on a weekend. The One Bedroom Suite for the newlyweds is beautifully appointed, and you'll want to make the most of it by enjoying a relaxing soak in the oversized tub along with champagne and chocolates.

Pricing here is extremely competitive, parking is free for overnight guests, and the ambiance is up-to-date and fresh. Juniper Cupertino is a big-city venue in the ‘burbs that appeals to both the senses and the pocketbook.
