Why You'll Love This Place

A Here Comes The Guide Wedding Venue Review
  • Tucked inside the iconic Golden Gate Park, this enchanting garden is a hidden gem that unfolds like a secret. Because weddings are held after hours, the entire three-acre expanse is reserved for you and your loved ones, creating a magical, tranquil setting for the most important of celebrations.
  • The lovely Pagoda Plaza, thoughtfully renovated by award-winning designer Hoichi Kurisu, is a magical place for ceremonies and standing receptions. Exchange vows against the dramatic, century-old red Pagoda, which sits atop a plinth of Tatsuyama stones donated by Japanese stonemasons, then mingle with your guests amid the lush seasonal blooms, bonsai, Japanese black pines, and sculptural lanterns.
  • Stunning photo backdrops abound: natural paths wind through graceful Japanese maples, fragrant cherry trees, clipped hedges and azaleas, draping wisteria, and moss-covered stones. A series of ponds filled with colorful koi connect throughout, with multiple crossings and pretty waterfalls. We're particularly fond of the dramatically steep Drum Bridge, which creates a striking "frame" for romantic pictures.
