Why You'll Love This Place

A Here Comes The Guide Wedding Venue Review

One of the best ways to merge these scenic glories with a topnotch celebration is with City Cruises San Francisco. From glamorous yachts to a replica of a turn-of-the-century coastal steamer, City Cruises' wide range of vessels combine the facilities of a fine restaurant with the excitement of a bay cruise. Whether you’re planning a fabulous affair for 1,500 people or an intimate get-together with your closest friends, one of City Cruises' San Francisco Bay-based fleet will provide a spectacular setting.

The Commodore Hornblower, a 75-foot custom-built wood yacht from Hawaii, comes with two enclosed decks and a view-filled sundeck. The Empress Hornblower is an 84-foot vessel reminiscent of river ferryboats. Outfitted with the rich woods and shining brass typical of the City Cruises fleet, she features indoor decks, an awning-covered outdoor deck, two dance floors, and two bars. The 98-foot Sunset Hornblower has two decks appointed with mahogany and brass, as well as two bars. The 97-foot Pacific Hornblower, containing two enclosed decks, mahogany accents, and a spacious open bow, showcases the Bay’s natural beauty through large wraparound windows.

The most contemporary member of the City Cruises fleet is the 150-foot, sleek and modern San Francisco Spirit. Live large on this 400-person craft, with elegant appointments that create a luxurious atmosphere.

The 183-foot California Hornblower is patterned after early 19th-century steamships and is the flagship of the City Cruises fleet. Boasting three decks, dining salons, promenade decks, and multiple dance floors, she can handle even the largest gathering with style.

One of the most impressive vessels is the 292-foot San Francisco Belle. Originally a casino riverboat, she’s been remodeled to accommodate sizable groups for special events. She’s designed with three large interior decks and an expansive sundeck.

All City Cruises' events include linens, china, and flatware. Their staff can handle as many of your wedding details as you desire, from personalized menus to photography and custom floral displays. If you get married on board, you have the additional option of using one of City Cruises' captains who are licensed ministers. With more than 50,000 special events and private parties to their credit, City Cruises San Francisco knows how to make the most of an unforgettable setting, and provide all the finery to make your celebration truly memorable.
