Now on the National Register of Historic Places, it’s been wonderfully restored and lives on as a breathtaking event venue.
- The dramatic gambrel barn—one of the most breathtaking in North Carolina—is an architectural marvel, with gleaming wood flooring, abundant natural light, and a towering ceiling resembling the inverted hull of a ship, supported by intricate Gothic-style arches.
- Two intimate spaces, the Davie and Forsyth Rooms, occupy the barn’s lower level, and offer direct access to its east and west terraces. It’s a pairing that creates a fantastic option for both ceremonies and open-air cocktail hours.
