- One of the oldest homesteads in Shelby County, this Louisville-area estate and its handsome manor home date to 1790s. Having been beautifully restored, its Federal style architecture retains much of its original detail, and the surrounding park-like grounds boast the rural tranquility of a bygone era.
- We’re totally taken with the lakeside ceremony area, which features a view of not only the water, but the charming duck house: a floating miniature version of the manor that shelters the estate’s namesake mallards. The lawn offers plenty of room for a tented affair, and intimate events can take place in and around the home itself…including its pool terrace and cool underground speakeasy.
- Packages include a two-night stay in the manor for up to sixteen guests, as well as the services of a professional event coordinator and access to the stunning dressing suite, which, along with its dreamy décor, boasts a bespoke private dressing room with its own cute coffee bar.
