Why You'll Love This Place
A Here Comes The Guide Wedding Venue Review
- Occupying a prime ridgetop above the Connecticut River in Haddam, this all-inclusive event center offers lovely vistas of the historic East Haddam Swing Bridge and Goodspeed Opera House. You'll enjoy complete venue exclusivity on the big day, with the whole team focused on you—including a personal attendant who sticks with you all night.
- The Ceremonial Patio and Terrace features a knockout, pavilion-sized gazebo. Views of the river and swing bridge make a great backdrop for photos, as does the grand staircase in the two-story lobby atrium, which is perfect for group shots. As an added perk, there's an included kids' room—you bring the babysitter and toys, they provide the comfy, dedicated space.
- Your celebration flows from the light-filled atrium, a sweet spot for cocktails, into the Goodspeed Ballroom, which boasts a dramatic vaulted ceiling, Palladian windows, and impressive chandeliers. Packages cover a five-hour premium open bar, wine with dinner, and a custom cake from their own bakery, making planning a breeze.
