"Our one request was that we wanted to have the feeling that 'we wanted to do it all over again' after we watched our video – and that is exactly how we feel each time we watch it."

"I loved how detailed and thoughtful he was about the day."

"Their shooting style is very nonchalant – they want to capture the moment as it's happening vs. making the moment happen. The team made not only me and the groom feel at ease, they made the guests feel at ease, too. Many forgot they were even there shooting most of the day."

"They were really easy to work with and captured the wedding in a way that really fit our aesthetic."

"I watch my wedding film quite frequently and have the biggest smile on my face every time."

"1000% would recommend. Already have, to be honest."

Questions and Answers

What 3 words best describe your work?

Cinematic. Classic. Real.

Tell us about your company name.

My style of filming and editing was heavily influenced by a company called New York Filmworks. When I decided to start my own production company, I wanted to pay tribute to them.

Why should someone hire you?

Because ultimately we care. We never outsource our filming or editing to independent contractors. We spend over 3 hours through 3 different meetings learning about your story and what your vision for your wedding film looks like. We help plan and schedule your wedding day to make that vision a reality. Most of all, we realize that this isn't a video production; this is your wedding day, and we try to make our presence as least noticeable and seamless as possible.

What are the common misconceptions about your services?

That we may get in the way of the photographers. In reality they are our greatest friends on the wedding day.

What drew you to this field/how did you get started?

I've been making videos since I was a little kid. I've just always gravitated towards the camera. In high school I volunteered at our local TV studio and served on my church's 9-man production team. While working at the church, I was approached to film my first wedding.

What are some sources of inspiration or influences on your work?

I watch and subscribe to TONS of wedding creators. I love seeing some of the unique things they try at their weddings.

Tell us about a favorite, unusual or very interesting moment at a wedding:

From Harry Potter wands to medical emergencies..... we have seen it all.

What makes a wedding memorable for you?

The people and the venue.

What have weddings taught you?

Too much to list. Most of all they have taught me how to be in the right place at the right time, and how to execute a shot on the first try. At a wedding, there often isn't an option for a second take.

What is the best advice you give a couple when planning their wedding?

The Schedule. Planning and creating a realistic timeline that takes into account every overlooked second is critical to a successful shoot. That's why we spend hours before the wedding making sure every second is accounted for.

If you could have any superpower on the job, what would it be?

The ability to freeze time. Working as a one or two man team has its limitations. It would be nice to freeze time to be able to reposition our cameras during moments where there are no second takes.

What are 3 words that describe your personality?

On the wedding day it's important to keep the couple loose and smiling. I try to stay happy and positive and keep things lighthearted.

Extracurricular activities:

Hockey, golf, and mountain biking.

Tell us about your pets, if you have any.

Sam is my overly-loved doghter. Picture below. She's spoiled.
