Julia Green is always up for an adventure, and finds photographing weddings to be unlike any adventure she’s been on. There’s always a unique love story to tell, details to discover and a new couple to get to know. She says, “It’s the joy for life that fuels me with the desire to learn more about people, living and love. It’s your stories that drive my passion to pursue photography so that your special moments can live on forever.”
Julia is extremely easy and fun to work with, keeps the energy going during formal photos, and blends into the background to capture her signature candids. Her main goal is to highlight your personalities, capture your emotions, and give you a memorable photography experience that stands out among all the others.

Questions and AnswersRead More Show Less
What 3 words best describe your work?Romantic. Natural. Fun.
What are 3 words that describe your personality?Outgoing. Personable. Responsible.
What's your favorite quote?"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." 1 Corinthians 13:13
What's your favorite marriage advice?I'm not married, so I can't speak from experience, but my favorite marriage advice is to always remember that you're on the same team with your spouse. I think that when you realize that you're on the same team, you realize the importance of fighting for love.
Extracurricular activities:Living in Oregon has its perks, and one of those perks is the access to beautiful hiking trails and outdoor activities. I love exploring new paths, visiting beautiful waterfalls and spending my weekends adventuring/photographing with friends.
If you weren't in your current profession, what would you do instead?I teach communication courses at Oregon State University through their Ecampus department. I enjoy teaching online because it gives me the freedom to pursue photography. I believe that my communication background really helps the photography experience with my clients. Not only am I personable, but I can also clearly communicate with the couples that I photograph.
What are some of your favorite places to eat—either everyday spots or special occasion splurges?Portland has great food and drink, which is why it's so hard to choose just a few of my favorite places to eat. However, if I had to choose I would say Tilt, Matador, Pine State Biscuits and Mother's are some of my favorites.
