Why should someone hire you?If a couple wants input into the creations of their wedding ceremony, my process puts them “hands on” during the entire process. Say what they want to say, hear what they want to hear. I pay attention to every detail connected to the ceremony so nothing breaks the connection between the couple.
What are the common misconceptions about your services?It's important to know that all officiants are not alike! We all have different styles, knowledge, experience, empathy and professionalism.
What drew you to this field/how did you get started?I’m a dopey romantic. I have the best view in the house of this amazing moment between two people committed enough to each other to get married. And I have the skill set to do my job well.
What makes a wedding memorable for you?When the couple is completely connected. Right here, right now.
What have weddings taught you?Life keeps going. It doesn’t go backwards. Pay attention. Don’t worry. Feel joy.
What is the best advice you give a couple when planning their wedding?Listen to your hearts. Think about what you want to say to this most important person. Create brilliant memories.
If you could have any superpower on the job, what would it be?Stop time. Too many brides say, "I don't remember anything. It was all a blur."
