Why should someone hire you?We pride ourselves on providing the highest level of customer service in the wedding industry. We ensure that our clients receive big company results, with the feel and intimacy of a small company experience.
What drew you to this field/how did you get started?I started DJing when I was 17 years old because I saw it as a great opportunity to meet girls. As I continued to keep working, I began to notice that the wedding industry was a huge market, so I made the switch and I've never looked back. We have always provided uplighting with our DJ services, but we added on our Event Lighting service in 2008 and I discovered how much I enjoyed getting to express my creative side.
Tell us about your company name.We started as a DJ company and I purchased all of my DJ equipment before I had a company name, so a friend and I started writing down different name options. After a long process we narrowed it down to two options: Elite Sound (which was the brand of my speakers) and Fantasy Sound—and of course, Fantasy Sound won. As we continued to grow we added Event Services to the end, and it stuck!
What makes a wedding memorable for you?I always remember the weddings where the bride and groom have taken the time to ensure that their guests have an amazing time. It's always in the details, and I really enjoy being able to execute their plan, and see everyone enjoying it.
What is the best advice you give a couple when planning their wedding?To take some time and ENJOY it! This is one of the most exciting times of a couple's life, and many times they get too stressed out to actually enjoy the time together. You will never have this experience again, so treasure it!
