Why We Like This Place
Having your wedding at the DoubleTree by Hilton San Pedro, a remarkable Los Angeles waterfront destination, is pretty much guaranteed to be a dream come true: Situated right on the Cabrillo Marina, and offering a variety of beautiful indoor and outdoor venues, this alluring location is your ticket to a great time.
Although the hotel is well equipped to handle any type of social or corporate event, they absolutely delight in weddings. Options for amazing ceremonies and receptions abound, so all you have to do is pick the ones that best fit your celebration. Your event is customizable, and you can choose from an array of packages and enhancements to suit your particular needs and budget.
Given the sunny coastal surround, our favorite sites, of course, are the hotel's outdoor courtyard, plaza, and terrace. At the gorgeous Marina View Courtyard, you can tie the knot and dance and dine on a broad, paved piazza framed by flowers, palms, and other lush greenery. Sailboats and yachts bob on the sun-sequined waters behind you, and market lights and Parisian-style streetlamps amp up the romance after sunset. On the opposite side of the building you'll find the equally stunning and even more spacious Rose Terrace, where slightly elevated platforms create natural stages for the wedding couple or entertainers while providing marina and hillside views.
For a slightly more cloistered outdoor setting, consider the appropriately named Intimate Madeo Plaza. Long, elegant, and lit by Old World-style sconces and strings of bistro lights, it's large enough for a ceremony on one end (complete with a substantial aisle for a grand entrance) and a party on the other.
All of these plein air settings can be used on their own or partnered with indoor spaces. The Rose Terrace pairs well with the adjacent Marina Room for drinks and hors d'oeuvres and the Bosanko Room for dinner. The much larger Madeo Ballroom located upstairs and the smaller Madeo Room on the first floor just beneath it may be used individually or in tandem with the other galleries and courtyards. Additional rooms of varying sizes can all be easily customized for your affair.
