Vikki and Shannon started All You Need Is Love Events out of a love for all things wedding and event related— with an understanding that one person truly cannot plan an event alone. With a lot of hard work, a passion for perfection and a strong desire to take care of all clients equally, All You Need Is Love Events simply wants to have happy clients with weddings that reflect their personalities and individualities. All You Need Is Love Events consists of not one but two incredibly fun and creative principle event planners, along with lead planner Molly, to help ensure your day is nothing short of phenomenal.
Whether you need “month of” guidance or full-scale production of your entire event, their team can help make your dreams a reality. Since every wedding is a unique experience and each couple has different wants and needs, they prefer to create customized proposals that are tailored to your wedding.

What 3 words describe your work?
Creative. Energetic. Organized.
Tell us about your company name.
We are HUGE Beatles fans, so the name started from there. Ultimately though, we felt like it was very in sync with our feelings on what love should be like and why people have weddings. There is so much to do, think about, and stress over when planning a wedding—but in the end, we know that the thing that matters most at the end of the day is love. The love our couples have for each other combined with our love for them makes each wedding special.
Why should someone hire you?
The thing that truly sets our company apart from others is that we take a very personalized approach as we know that each event is special in its own way. We believe that no two weddings are the same, and therefore we really try to get to know our couples (and their families) in order to make their dreams come true. Our team has worked together for over 6 years planning all different types of events and ultimately, our main goal is to see our clients happy.
What are the common misconceptions about your services?
A common misconception that people have about wedding coordinators in general is that they are an "extra expense" instead of a needed aspect of the process. We often hear from brides/grooms alike that they did not know how important a role we would play in their day until afterwards.
What drew you to this field/how did you get started?
A simple love of weddings drew us to this business. We've always agreed that we had to love what we did; so when we both got frustrated in our normal 9-5s, we did something about it. We both have a passion for events and a love of everything wedding-related. With Shannon's endless creativity and Vikki's diligent organization, this company was a perfect partnership.
What are some sources of inspiration or influences on your work?
We often refer to blogs and wedding magazines to help us get a feel for what brides are looking for but in the end, it all comes down to the couple themselves. We often say that we want the guests to walk away from the wedding and say, "Wow. That was just so them" (insert bride and groom's name).
Tell us about a favorite, unusual or most interesting moment at a wedding:
We love listening to the vows and watching the ceremonies because each one has a different feel and tone, which often describes on a personal level the experience we have had with the bride and groom. Another favorite moment for us is after the wedding (funny, right?) when we get to touch base and hear how the bride and groom felt the wedding went. As we mentioned above, we often hear…"We can't imagine what our day would have been like without you!" To us, that makes it all worthwhile.
What is the best advice you give to a couple when planning their wedding?
The best advice we can give is that in the end, it is not about anyone else but the two of you and the commitment that you are promising one another for the rest of your lives.
If you could have any superpower on the job, what would it be?
So many times, we wish we were able to stop time. We know how fast the wedding day flies by and we wish we could stop time so our brides and grooms could have a few extra seconds to enjoy that first look, or hold on to that feeling of first being announced husband and wife. There are so many incredible moments during a very short wedding day and we wish we could just make them last a little bit longer.
