In fact, what lies beyond the impressive gates is not just a golf course, but an exclusive private community surrounded by vineyards and spread over acres of open land. It’s so exclusive that in order to take a peek at this lovely facility you have to make an appointment. However, no membership or sponsorship is required to host your event here.

The clubhouse and fairways are a short drive up the hill, and as you make your way to the top you pass dozens of spectacular homes whose graceful architecture defines the development. Most of these houses are reminiscent of Italian villas, and when you finally reach the clubhouse you’re hardly surprised to find that it’s the largest and most striking “villa” of them all.

Step through the arched front door into the Grand Lobby and you’re more than a little awestruck by the grand scale and inviting ambiance. The vast marble floor gleams softly, bathed in natural light from a stunning domed skylight overhead. You can’t help but notice rich details, like the crown molding, wall sconces, and window trim, all seemingly fashioned from stone, and the eclectic antiques and art, which add a personal touch. From the Grand Lobby, walk down the regal staircase into the Clubhouse Ballroom, where indoor receptions and special events are held. The sheer grandeur of the space makes you want to sit down to fully appreciate the soaring 40-foot ceiling, custom chandelier, and abundant light streaming in through a multitude of high windows and glass doors.

The Clubhouse Ballroom adjoins a charming parlor room, and opens to the Outdoor Parlor Patio, a private patio enclosed by high hedges that’s outfitted with comfy furniture and a fire pit, and lit by market lights strung overhead. Just steps away is the Circular Patio, a stunning oval terrace that’s bookended by two wisteria-covered trellises, and feels intimate despite the fact that it’s completely open to the sky, the breeze and panoramic vistas. And prior to your event, you’ll also enjoy two bridal & groom’s lounges along with complimentary bubbly and hors d’oeuvres.

The Club at Ruby Hill is a glorious spot for any upscale affair or holiday party.
