With over 25 years of experience working in childcare and the wedding industry, Jessica created an on-site solution for kid-friendly events. Wedding Sitter® offers fun, safe, and fully-supervised childcare service at your wedding venue—ensuring the kiddos will be entertained so the grown-ups can enjoy the event!

Wedding Sitter® Founder and CEO Jessica Williams-Flores has over 25+ years of experience working in childcare and the wedding and event planning industry. The Los Angeles based wife and mother of two has served in every bridal party and social event capacity for ALL kinds of events.
"In planning my own wedding, I really wanted an adult-only event and wanted my guests to enjoy our reception. After having children of my own, working as a floral event designer for weddings, and attending many weddings and social events as a guest, I realized there was a need for this service. I wanted to create a solution to keeping the event classy, while having your guests with children included and able to attend this momentous occasion."
Wedding Sitter® was born! All of my experience came together organically to pioneer and create this unique need and service to the wedding and event industry in 2008. Wedding Sitter was created out of my passion for weddings, parties, and children. "I LOVE parties, gatherings, themes, design and being part of the event team, working together to make the event MAGICAL for ALL! We have so much fun supervising and entertaining the little guests! Seeing the excitement on the little guests, parents, clients, and event planners faces gives me so much JOY and this is why I absolutely LOVE what we do!"

What drew you to this field/how did you get started?
I have worked in the wedding industry and in childcare for over 25 years. I love weddings, events of all kinds, and children. As a mom and former floral and event designer, I saw a need in the event industry that hadn't been established. I began to pioneer this new niche introducing this vendor category to the event industry in 2008, Wedding Sitter® on-site Wedding & Event Childcare was born!
What are some sources of inspiration or influences on your work?
Anything Martha Stewart, Mindy Weiss, Colin Cowie, and so many many more AMAZING wedding and event planners, designers, and stylists have done is where I get my inspiration. I have been collecting every wedding magazine, event guide, and book, as well as dreaming of becoming a mother and couldn't wait to babysit ever since I was a small child.
Tell us about a favorite, unusual or very interesting moment at a wedding:
My favorite moment at every event is the look on the little guests' faces as well as their parents, brides, and grooms, when they have their first look of our services and the creative space we've made – Just A Room Away!
What makes a wedding memorable for you?
The smiles and happiness from the client and their guests with children, and the little guests after every event. It's the best feeling every time knowing the event was a success.
What have weddings taught you?
It's one of the biggest moments in life and I LOVE being a part of the memory. Inclusion is everything, having children, family, and friends come together harmoniously to celebrate is one of life's greatest gifts!
What is the best advice you give a couple when planning their wedding?
That they can rest assured that their guests with children are on-site safe and happy during their big day. Just A Room Away!
If you could have any superpower on the job, what would it be?
To be able to teleport so our services could be everywhere all at the same time.

I have two dogs – they are both a Chihuahua Terrier mix and ADORABLE.
