Why We Like Them

“Fun,” “flirty” and “fabulous” are a few of the words that come to mind when you first step into this utterly charming D.C. bridal shop or even just log onto their website. The owners, who happed to be two best friends, understand the needs and dreams of today’s bride: out-of-the-ordinary dress choices in a range of prices and styles, and a memorable dress-shopping experience. The brides we spoke with couldn’t decide what impressed them the most—the shop’s decor, the dress selection or the sincere personal attention they received: “It’s rare to find a staff so singularly dedicated to making a bride and her family happy.”

Hitched has gathered an evocative assortment of wedding dresses by unique fashionistas, such as San Francisco designer-darling Amy Kuschelwhose “clever couture” is tops with Bay Area brides. If your fantasies run more to high fashion, then a bridal gown by Anne Barge, Christos or Amsale will make you feel like a supermodel as you strut your stuff down the aisle. Another hot designer you’ll find at Hitched: Anna Maier out of New York, known for sumptuous gowns. Your gal pals will also look smashing in their supporting roles, thanks to really cute bridesmaid dresses by Amsale, Jenny Yoo and others.
 
Hitched also understands that with all of a bride’s pre-wedding stress, extras like sparkly accessories and a bridal resource showroom can be as soul-soothing as a slice of double-chocolate cake (without the guilt!). So while there, you can also browse local vendor referrals, wedding accessories and fine paper invitations, and check a few more items off of your “to do” list. 

Thanks to this enchanting D.C. boutique, getting “hitched” has never been so easy…or so stylish!
