Background

Often recruited by local and national celebrities from the realms of entertainment, sports, and high ranking professionals, Owner/Executive Producer Justin Ferar has blended contemporary aesthetics with retro-chic Super 8 mm film and elegantly reinvented the old school wedding video.

Justin is credited with filming the first wedding ever shot in High Definition for Grammy-award-winning record producer Walter Afanasieff and Actress Christina Brascia.

Having written articles regarding wedding cinematography for Your Wedding Day magazine and Get Married!, Justin is also a former video producer for luxury-oriented San Francisco 7×7 magazine.

Maintaining the signature look of Weddings on Film with high-end, film-style production values, Justin personally films each wedding, working closely with his wife Georgina, who adds her own distinctly feminine perspective.

Weddings on Film is a Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Five Star Platinum List honoree for 2006-2007.

Services

All Weddings on Film packages include a short film and a documentary feature shot in High Definition and Super 8, two-camera coverage of the ceremony and reception (by Justin Ferar and Georgina Szabo), editing and post-production, professionally authored DVDs or Blu-ray, and the short film hosted online for 6 months. Weddings on Film also takes the time to scout your location before the event.
