Background
Shelly is a nationally accomplished fashion and advertising photographer. Her fashion work has been published multiple times in the national 7×7 Magazine, and her art pieces have been shown annually in exhibits and galleries throughout San Francisco. She has participated as a guest speaker at the Fashion Design Institute of San Francisco, and she is a member of the Advertising Photographer’s of America (APA).
Peter’s background in commercial advertising and documentary photography has taken him to the corners of the world. His work has been published in numerous consumer-trade publications and exhibited in galleries throughout the country. Along with his technical and lighting expertise, he also carries a passion and vision for photojournalism and fine art portraiture.
Services
A happy couple since 1998, Shelly and Peter infuse their passion for life into their work. “For us, weddings unify the elements of photography that we love: fashion, portraiture, documentary, and fine art. We’re inspired by the people, the locations and the uniqueness of each wedding.” Shooting every wedding together, Shelly and Peter are able to cover twice the ground and be in two places a once. Their unique yet complimentary shooting styles come together to provide you with an eclectic story of your wedding day.
Wedding photography packages always include two photographers (Shelly and Peter), unlimited rolls of black and white and color film, a handmade Japanese silk-covered proof album with black & white and color photographs, and online proofing, where images can be viewed and purchased by friends and family. Bride and Groom albums containing 50-75 of your favorite images are professionally laid out to your specifications and are hand-bound in a custom-made Leather Craftsman album. Parent albums, special custom orders, engagement sessions and high resolution image CD’s and DVD’s are also available. In addition, Union Photography does not charge travel fees and offers negatives at no extra cost.
