Music has always been Elizabeth Karsell Horne’s area of expertise. A talented singer with a degree in voice, she is also an accomplished pianist and violinist. But what gives her the most pleasure is helping find the perfect musical match for events. Whether it’s a Brazilian concert pianist and composer, a classical guitarist, a harpist, a flutist, a folksinger, an a capella ensemble, a quartet, a choir, or a Broadway star, she has the network to connect you up with the very best artists.
“I think I must have sung at 10,000 weddings,” laughs the lovely founder of the Wedding Singer Agency. “But it wasn’t until my own wedding, which was in a state that I didn’t live in, that I realized how hard it could be to find the right musicians.” She decided to declare it her mission to make finding live music easy for brides. “Who needs the hassle of not being sure the musician will come through on their special day?” says a professional actor/singer who has performed in Broadway musicals and starred in film and television. “Elizabeth will make it happen!”
Elizabeth is a real live muse. She works with her clients to determine just what they’re looking for and to fully understand their vision. Her company can find musical performers for all kinds of functions—corporate, private and social—but her personal focus, as a musician who has also been a bride, is weddings.
