Why should someone hire you? The Hidden Garden specializes in catering to the discerning bride who is looking for a high-quality product with exceptional service. We always provide exactly what is described in the proposals and are consistent with our service.
What are the common misconceptions about your services? That we just do flowers! Actually, we can help any bride with her needs beyond flowers. We collaborate with the best lighting specialists, linen companies, rental companies, draping etc.
What are some of sources of inspiration or influences on your work? The LA flower market is my inspiration. I still go there 3 days a week to see what flowers are arriving daily. Mother Nature is so amazing. One week it's winter and the following week lilac, viburnum and dogwood have arrived. If you don't visit the market you would never know what new flowers are there. There are many times I visit the market for a wedding and find that "perfect" flower for the bridal bouquet that I would have never found if I just had "trucks" drop off to my store. —Amy
What have weddings taught you? With all the amazing decor, food, band etc...all the money...all the planning...it's not about all that in the end—it's really about the marriage of the bride and groom.
What is the best advice you give to a couple when planning their wedding? Don't let the planning get in the way of the real reason you are getting married...for love.
What is your favorite quote or saying? My husband says "Everything is bunny rabbits and ice cream to you." Life is happy for me...so he loves to tease me! —Amy
