Background
Pamela Rose and Glenn Walters were both vocalists in the Zasu Pitts Memorial Orchestra and both have recorded solo albums as well as numerous national tv and radio ads. Pamela has twice been Nominated for a Bay Area Music Award (Bammie). Glenn Walters co-led the Hoo Doo Rhythm Devils. His voice can be heard in the Tim Burton film “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” Band members have played with Tower of Power, Bonnie Raitt, Herbie Hancock, Charles Brown, Van Morrison, John Lee Hooker, Wynton Marsalis and Boz Scaggs.
Services
Sidepocket is a seven piece band which can be condensed to five pieces or expanded to nine, including a horn section.
A truly extensive song list encompassing Motown, soul, disco, funk, blues, standards, swing, rock and roll, and Latin and other ethnic music allows Sidepocket to easily field requests and get a wide age range of guests up and dancing.
