Background
Chuck Savadelis was a photographer for 20 years before starting Savadelis Films with his wife and partner Jewel. He has done fashion, architectural and corporate photography and has photographed three US Presidents.
Chuck & Jewel are winners of three prestigious 2006 Telly Awards, the premiere award honoring outstanding film and video productions. They have been placed on the exclusive recommended lists of Grace Ormonde’s Five-Star Directory, PaperCity’s Black Book and Daily Candy’s Spring 2006 Wedding Guide. They are prominently featured in Countdown to Your Perfect Wedding by nationally recognized event consultant Joyce Scardina Becker. Chuck is President of the San Francisco Bay Area Videographers Association, BAPVA, which also named them Videographers of the Year for 2003. And they are active members of the international videographers association, WEVA.
Services
Chuck and Jewel are passionate about their work. They are honored to document weddings and other events of their clients’ lives. The Savadelis’ offer a new genre of videography that surprises you with its high level of artistry, creativity and emotion.
To produce their high-quality personal movies, they collaborate with their clients and spend countless hours in preparation to make sure the final result will be a perfect reflection of the day. They film exclusively in high definition, and can deliver “movie trailers” on iPods soon after the wedding. Chuck and Jewel invest over 100 hours in editing to produce a 30-45 minute movie that is rich with the details, spontaneous emotions, and events that made the day special.
They also provide a high level of customer service: everyone we spoke to mentioned Jewel’s famous “wedding day Emergency Kit” that has items to “save the day.” Jewel has created last-minute boutonnieres, helped settle nervous stomachs and supplied a veil from this magical kit.
To provide their highly personalized service, Chuck and Jewel film all the weddings themselves and only accept 25 engagements a year. Commissions start at $6000.
