“To tell you the truth, I didn’t know if I really wanted a video, but Justin was one of the best gifts of my entire wedding day. He was wonderful with everyone and stayed on top of every detail without ever getting in the way. I look back on my wedding video with so much happiness. His work is magnificent and I will always be grateful that he was part of our day.”
“Once I watched his samples…I was hooked. He has an amazing eye for angles, colors and lighting.”
“Justin was very supportive, informative, and simply great to work with. He took pride in his work and it really showed. He listened to us and understood our personalities. He and his assistant were unobtrusive—I barely even noticed that he was filming me. When he needed to get a certain shot, he would let me know and he just made the whole experience fun. And the final product was just awesome. He made me look so great and he captured the day perfectly! We are SO happy we decided to have Justin film our wedding.”
“Justin is very professional, hard working, fun & personable. I think his videography style is fresh, modern and fun to watch.”
“We never had to take time away from our celebration to ask for things from him or have him ask for things from us. Justin Fone felt more like an extension of your wedding guest then an outsider coming in to work an event. He is well prepared for the day from start to finish. It is obvious he plans out his approach and just doesn’t ‘show up.’”
With studios based in San Francisco and Los Angeles, Justin Fone travels worldwide, documenting some of the most luxurious and extravagant weddings and special events around the globe. Whether he’s shooting a Balinese beachfront ceremony or an intimate Sonoma vineyard reception, he creates timeless fine art films for his discerning clients.
Justin Fone is regularly featured on national cable network channels like E!, Fine Living, Oprah’s Oxygen, Style, and TLC, as well as in print magazines such as 7×7, Brides, Bride & Bloom, Daily Candy, Grace Ormonde, Martha Stewart Weddings, San Francisco Brides, The Knot, and Your Wedding Day.
The San Francisco Chronicle has given Justin Fone their “Best Wedding Videographer” award, and Brides Northern California named him one of the top wedding cinematographers. He’s also been featured on “The Martha Stewart Show” for his award-winning work.
The son of Burmese parents—a photographer and a chemist—Justin is truly the product of art meeting science. He developed his own blend of visual sensibility and technical precision at a very young age, and during his early adolescence expressed his creativity as a graffiti artist.
These days he spends his free time riding his vintage scooter, playing acoustic guitar, and following independent films and music. He also aspires to be a professional downhill skier, so in the winter look for him on the slopes of Whistler and Tahoe.
