Located in the heart of San Francisco, this hotel’s outstanding facilities and services have earned it a Four Diamond rating from AAA. Among the services most appreciated by brides is on-site wedding coordination, provided by a full-time wedding expert who will work with you or your own consultant to plan every detail of your event. Whether you’re inviting 12 or 500 guests, The Westin San Francisco Market Street’s award-winning catering team is committed to making the planning process easy and efficient.

The hotel offers a variety of different event rooms, and the well-designed layout is remarkably easy to navigate. Take a stroll through the lobby and ballrooms, and peek into the meeting rooms; what you’ll see are spaces that are both luxuriously chic and relaxed. The abundant pictures and objets d’art contribute strongly to the cosmopolitan ambiance. Distinctive carpets flow across the floors in soft creams and golds with muted jewel accents; Italian hand-blown chandeliers in the lobby and Ballroom cast a warm glow through milky glass panes.

The private dining room inside the hotel restaurant is ideal for a rehearsal dinner or post-wedding breakfast. Hand-painted murals at both ends of the room are a whimsical touch, and the mahogany latticed windows and furnishings add richness and warmth.

Inside the hotel, the Metropolitan Ballroom on the second floor provides a more regal tone for large receptions: gleaming mahogany accents are reflected in two long mirrors; hand-blown, deco Venetian glass chandeliers softly illuminate the space and echo the geometric pattern in the custom carpet. In addition, the room is exceptionally quiet and private, with a fully adjustable lighting system and a practical shape (rectangular but not long and thin) that allows for a multitude of arrangements. Just outside, the Ballroom Foyer has a bar, grand chandelier, and a piano nook that lends itself nicely to wedding photographs.

Meeting rooms on the second and third levels are unusually lovely and well-constructed, with closets and credenzas, high-speed data ports and full AV, plus natural lighting and rich woods. Newlyweds often stay overnight in one of the Executive Suites, where they’re surrounded by the warmth of muted gold velvet fabrics and sleek mahogany furnishings. They can lounge around in plush bathrobes, sip champagne or wine (a treat from the hotel) and take in the panoramic views of downtown and the Bay Bridge.

If your special event at The Westin San Francisco Market Street is going to keep you in The City for a couple of days, it’s worth knowing that Union Square and the world-renowned San Francisco Museum of Modern Art are just a short walk from the hotel.

30% of the event total is required to reserve your date. The balance is due 15 days prior to the event. Luncheons start at $40/person, dinners at $60/person. Tax, alcohol and service charges are additional. Ceremony room rental fees may apply.
