The Westin Mission Hills is no ordinary resort, but an exclusive oasis that evokes the exotic beauty and romance of a Moroccan castle. Highlighted with cobalt blue domes and tile insets, the resort’s graceful, pale salmon façade stands out against a backdrop of silvery hillsides.Throughout the resort, arched breezeways and curved walls combine with 360 acres of waterways and lush landscaping to create a fluid aesthetic that harmonizes with the natural surroundings. Even a brief visit here entices you to surrender to the rhythm of the desert: Swim in cool pools resembling tropical lagoons. In front of the hotel lies a marvelous setting for a garden wedding—a generous swath of manicured lawn sheltered by towering palm trees. Couples exchange vows against a dynamic, layered background: Just behind them, water cascades down a ziggurat-shaped fountain into a trio of aqua pools. Beyond, raised beds of sunny snapdragons and crimson poppies lead to a sweeping arcade, composed of two rows of columns supporting a series of vaulted arches. Finally, the end of the arcade frames a dramatic rock waterfall softened by luxuriant foliage. Couples come from miles around just to be photographed at this gorgeous spot.
Near the waterfall, the bi-level Masters Plaza is large enough to accommodate all phases of your event outdoors. Get married under a grand pergola facing the adjacent golf greens, and dine amidst rows of stately palm trees.
You can also choose from a variety of exceptional ballrooms, each with a stunning foyer and private patio. The Ambassador Ballroom has opulent details, like gilt wall covering and arched doorways trimmed in cut stone. The Ballroom Foyer has its own patio that overlooks the palm grove. At the Westin, a foyer is not merely a way to get to a ballroom, but a handsome event area in its own right. A prime example is the expansive Celebrity Ballroom Foyer, featuring arched windows, modern artwork, and an adjoining verandah, festooned with magenta bougainvillea. Fees & Deposits
20% of the total event cost is required to reserve your date. The balance is due 7 days prior to the event. Rental fees range $500&ndash2,000 depending on the season. Meals range $83–103/person.
