Description
Tucked away on a hillside in Laguna Beach, Tivoli Terrace is a romantic two-level garden specializing in weddings and receptions. A bougainvillea-draped tiled staircase leads to the upper terrace, a lush setting where ceremonies are held. Reminiscent of an Italian grotto, it charms with fountains, statuary, and an array of colorful flowers against a backdrop of vibrant bougainvillea and the Laguna Beach hills beyond. Decorative antique doors add a nostalgic touch, and hanging stained-glass panels convey the feeling of being in a church—albeit an open-air one. Couples exchange vows beneath an iron archway at an altar festooned with flowers and lit by candelabras, a truly storybook tableau.
Receptions on the lower terrace are equally lovely. Shaded by huge sycamore trees, it features two fountains, vintage street lamps and an antique gazebo to showcase the wedding cake. The whole area is bordered by flowers and an abundance of greenery. During the day, when it’s set with tables under giant market umbrellas, this expansive patio feels a little like an intimate European plaza. At night, candles and twinkle lights lend the space a magical quality. The terrace can also be tented if the weather turns cool.
Tivoli Terrace, like its sister properties Tivoli Too and The Hacienda, is owned by June Neptune, who believes that weddings should be stress-free and fun. To that end she has a created an all-inclusive package that covers everything from floral decorations and live music for the ceremony, to appetizers, drinks, dinner and even the wedding cake. But perhaps best of all, she offers the services of wedding coordinators who will not only help you plan your event, but will be on site to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Fees & Deposits
For weddings, a $2,000 nonrefundable deposit, applied toward the balance, is required to reserve your date. An additional $500 security deposit and a $250 sound deposit are payable 90 days prior to the wedding. In-house catering is provided. Half the estimated total is payable 90 days prior, the balance is due 2 weeks prior to the wedding and a final guest count 1 week in advance. Wedding packages include live music, cake, fresh flowers, tables and chairs, linens, food service, passed hors d’oeuvres, unlimited beer, wine and champagne. Package prices range $50–110/person, depending on day and time of the event. A 20% service charge and tax are additional.
For meetings, a $200 deposit or 10% of the estimated event total is required to reserve your date; the balance is payable 2 weeks prior to the event. Business breakfasts run $15–25/person, luncheons $25–40/person and dinners $50–110/person; tax, beverages and service charges are additional.
