Description
The Stanford Park Hotel, a Five Star-Diamond property located in the heart of Silicon Valley, offers several choices for your celebration. As you walk through the brass entry doors, you’re greeted by a softly lit lobby with an immense brick fireplace and cascading oak staircase. Just past the lobby is a beautiful two-level courtyard with an old-world ambiance. Expertly landscaped, with multicolored flowers, trees and handsome stone benches, it’s a tranquil garden setting that we recommend for outdoor ceremonies and receptions. The upper level is separated from the lower one by a vine-covered brick wall.
Ceremonies are held on the upper level, where the bridal processional can walk down a lovely pathway bordered by blooming flowers. Every ceremony here has an unexpected guest—a full bronze statue of Benjamin Franklin, permanently seated on his own bench. Receptions take place in the lower courtyard. Tables are arranged around a small fountain, and freestanding white canvas umbrellas are available to shade guests.
Inside the hotel, the Atherton and Menlo Rooms are popular for small indoor ceremonies, receptions, dinner parties and meetings. These pleasant spaces are designed in a classic style with a contemporary touch. They have high vaulted ceilings, and are furnished with pieces designed specifically for the Stanford Park. Another option is the Woodside Room, which features a cathedral ceiling, bay windows and an adjacent foyer. The hotel’s central location makes it a convenient destination, and for honeymooners and their guests who’d like to stay overnight, the Stanford Park offers very special room rates.

Fees & Deposits
Rental fees range $600–2,500. For weddings, a nonrefundable $2,000 deposit is required when reservations are confirmed. For any time over 5 hours there is a $35/hour per waitperson charge. All catering is provided by the hotel. Wedding packages range $65–135/person. Alcohol, tax and a 20% service charge are additional.
For weekday business meetings and corporate events, call the catering department for additional information.

Year-round, daily, 7am–midnight. The Courtyard, May–October, 9am–10pm.
