Description

The Spinnaker Restaurant, on Sausalito’s waterfront, has recently added a spacious new banquet facility to its list of delicious offerings. The new wing is adjacent to the Sausalito Yacht Harbor, and is completely separate from the main dining room. It even has its own kitchen area that caters solely to the new facility. Like the restaurant, the banquet room is partially built on piers over the water, and has floor-to-ceiling glass throughout, a warm interior in shades of cream and rose and the same distinctive wood-slat ceiling. From any spot in the room you have sweeping views that include Belvedere, Angel Island, the Bay Bridge and San Francisco’s skyline. Sliding glass doors open onto an adjoining outdoor deck that offers an additional 1,000 square feet of bayside space. From here you can read the names of the boats as they glide past, their colorful spinnakers fluttering and white sails billowing in the breeze.

The banquet room can be set up any way you like. Audiovisual systems are available for business functions, and there is ample space for a band and portable dance floor for wedding receptions and holiday parties. It’s also a great setting for a small private affair, such as a bridal shower luncheon or an anniversary or birthday party. Quiet and tasteful, the Spinnaker is an inviting and welcome addition to waterfront dining.

CEREMONY & EVENT/RECEPTION CAPACITY: The deck holds 60 seated or 80 standing, the banquet room 160 seated or 220 standing guests.

MEETING CAPACITY: The Banquet Room holds 200 seated theater-style or 160 seated conference-style.

Fees & Deposits

To reserve your date, a $1,000 nonrefundable deposit is required (which is applied towards the event balance). The food and beverage balance is payable at the event’s completion. The food and beverage minimum is $2,750 Monday–Thursday, $3,500 Friday and Sunday, and $6,500 Saturday. In-house catering is provided. Buffets or seated meals run $40–50/person; alcohol, tax and an 18% service charge are additional. An $800 room charge, $150 bartending fee and $200 dance floor fee may apply. For ceremonies, there’s a $400 setup charge.

For business luncheons and dinners, or for smaller groups, special rates can be arranged.
