Shrine Event Center

Description

Looks can be deceiving. That’s certainly true at the Shrine Event Center, whose modest exterior belies the wonderful celebrations you can have inside. This grand hall is larger than most event facilities in the area, and with a little imagination, it can take on whatever theme or ambiance you have in mind.

One couple had the center transformed into a Caribbean paradise with vibrant colors, tropical décor and a luau-style banquet. For another it became a formal ballroom, decked out in white linen and crystal. You can utilize the full-size stage for a band or DJ, show a montage of slides on the retractable screen, and place the resident potted trees and palms wherever you like. A series of tall wooden planters on wheels make convenient space dividers: outfitted with built-in lamps, they can be positioned at the front of the Center to create a lighted entryway, or along the stage for a theatrical touch. Add tulle, flowers, or twinkle lights as the spirit moves you; adjustable track lighting on dimmers allows you to adjust the mood throughout your party. Whatever your idea, your caterer will run with it and carry it out to the last detail.

Shrine Event Center works with six of the Tri-Valleys top caterers, and you can choose the one that suits you best. They all provide excellent food and service, and will help you create a celebration that turns out just the way you want it. On the day of your event you won’t have to think about anything but having a great time.

CEREMONY CAPACITY: Ceremonies take place upon request.

EVENT/RECEPTION CAPACITY: The facility accommodates 450 seated guests; 1,000 for a standing reception.

MEETING CAPACITY: The Main Auditorium holds 1,000 guests seated theater-style.

Fees & Deposits

A nonrefundable deposit is required to hold your event date. The rental fee, which includes a 5-hour event plus 2 hours for setup and 1 hour post-event for cleanup, ranges $1,100–3,500 depending on the date and time of the event.
