San Ramon Senior Center

Description

While senior activities take priority, this contemporary building (completed in 1992) has something for everyone. We particularly like the Vista Grande Room—an upscale event space, well suited for wedding receptions. The walls are painted a pleasant dusky peach, and the light oak floor is great for dancing. A high vaulted ceiling, recessed lighting and windows with views of rolling hills add to its charm. The room’s terrace, accessible through multiple doors, and the adjacent fully equipped commercial kitchen are additional attractions.

Outdoors, the East Terrace is a peaceful courtyard, surrounded by a terraced landscaped hillside, abloom with wild lilac and purple Mexican sage. You can arrange tables with umbrellas in this wind-protected area for luncheons, or just set up buffet tables for champagne and hors d’oeuvres. We think the San Ramon Senior Center is very attractive and, for those on a budget, very easy on the pocketbook.
