Description
As you wind your way over roads that take you into the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains, the unspoiled terrain suggests that you are leaving civilization behind. What awaits you at the top is the spectacular private estate of Rancho Sol del Pacifico.
The owners had searched for years for a fantasy home, until at last they discovered this newly built residence. Its exotic, Mediterranean-style design appealed to them almost as much as its secluded location with panoramic canyon and ocean views. Overjoyed at their purchase, the couple has made the grounds of their home available for special celebrations.
So you’ve arrived at this hilltop Villa, and the palm-flanked iron gates at the entrance open to an architectural wonder. But before you can take in all the stylish details of the house, you spy a small minaret standing guard amidst a thicket of evergreens. When you cross a slope of lawn to investigate, you realize it’s a little lighthouse with a rampway spiraling up to a bride’s own "room with a view"—360 degrees of mountain and ocean vistas. Gazing downward from your perch, you notice the tennis court some yards below the lawn. Its smooth surface tempts you to make it into a giant dance floor, and the Greco-style seating built right into the surrounding grassy bank is terrific for guests who’d rather enjoy their music sitting down.
Your mind is reeling with other possibilities as you make your way back to the tile-and-brick courtyard and, feeling a little bit like Audrey Hepburn in "Roman Holiday," splash your hand in the grand fountain. The plaza is nearly surrounded by the Mediterranean-style two-story home. A cluster of palm saplings hugs the foyer of the main entrance; arched colonnades along the second story suggest a Moorish influence. A passageway to the right of the main door leads to a picturesque colonnade, with plenty of tiled counters for serving tapas to your guests if you like. They can dine in shade at wrought-iron tables and chairs, while a waterfall cascades down stone steps into a colorful koi pond, adding to the romantic ambiance.
And, there’s more to explore at the rear of the building. A serpentine lagoon of a deep green turns out to be a swimming pool, a personal oasis at the edge of the crest with a stretch of ocean visible just beyond. Stone paths sweep along the pool’s perimeter, where you can sit in the sun and dangle your feet in the water; off to the side, a swath of lawn invites you to lounge about and take in the view.
Ah, Rancho Sol del Pacifico…a place you’ll always remember.

Fees & Deposits
Half of the rental fee, which varies according to guest count, is required to reserve the date. The balance is due 30 days prior to the event, and a security deposit is due 15 days prior. Rental fees range $5,000–11,000, depending on guest count.
