Description
Set in the foothills of the Santa Susanna Mountains, Porter Valley Country Club is a beautifully landscaped expanse of green rolling hills, shops, golf course, tennis courts, swimming pool and clubhouse. With its clean lines, contemporary Spanish-mission-style architecture, and refreshing lack of ostentation, the clubhouse is a genuine pleasure to behold. Host an event here and it’s certain to be a classy, sophisticated affair.
Weddings take place at the west end of the Clubhouse on a sweep of lawn adjoining the outside Terrace. Most couples exchange vows under a flower-festooned arbor, timing the ceremony to coincide with sunset’s late vermilion light. Theater-style seating on the lawn and Terrace offers guests an excellent view of the links, a nearby lake, and the club’s tranquil courtyard fountain.
After the ceremony the bride and groom are welcome to pose for photographs on the greens or alongside the club’s impressive arched portico with the lake in the background. At the same time, guests can get ready for the reception in the Pinehurst Room, whose glass doors lead directly onto the Terrace. Painted in pale cream hues, with a wall of west-facing windows, the Pinehurst Room is an open, elegant venue. English country chandeliers and handsome wooden pillars buttressing a coffered ceiling lend an air of quiet dignity. Large enough for a 36-piece band and dance floor, this room is suitable for small to midsize gatherings. Need more space? Simply pull back the Pinehurst’s retractable wall and expand into the equally appealing Homestead Room, which has swimming pool and golf course views.
Porter Valley’s expertise is definitely proven. Especially skilled at hosting big events, the country club’s staff has orchestrated hundreds of corporate functions, private parties and, of course, golf tournaments.

Fees & Deposits
For weddings, a $2,000 nonrefundable deposit is required to secure your date; 90% is payable 8 weeks prior to the event, and the balance and final guest count are due 7 days before the event. Several wedding packages can include: hors d’oeuvres, wine and beverages, bar service, champagne toast, cake, 2-course meal, and coffee or tea. Tax and an 20% service charge are additional. Luncheon packages start at $56/person, dinner packages at $60/person. À la carte luncheons start at $26/person and dinners start at $28/person. For business functions or meetings, room rental fees vary depending on time frame. Food and beverage services are provided; call for more specific information.
Availability
Year-round, daily. Luncheons 11am–4pm or noon–5pm; dinners 6:30pm–11:30pm or 7pm–midnight. Additional hours are available for a nominal fee. Business functions or meetings can take place anytime; private golf tournaments can take place on Mondays.
