Description
There’s a friendly competition amongst the many fine country clubs in Greater Palm Springs, each one laying claim to the prettiest mountain view, best banquet room, or superior chef. That sense of pride and desire for excellence is good news for anyone planning a wedding or special event in the desert. And at the Palm Valley Country Club the good news is even better—not only does the club boast great views, banquet space and food, but it’s also one of the best regional values for weddings and hosted events.
To reach the country club, visitors first pass through a private gated community of luxury condos that flank Palm Valley’s two picturesque golf courses. A long curving avenue lined with robust palms culminates at a rectangular fountain pool and waterfall, a refreshing introduction to the large clubhouse. Though its design is decidedly contemporary, the building’s use of geometric shapes and natural materials like stone, wood and tinted concrete recalls those fantastic Meso-American temples that so amazed European conquistadores.
A bright, inviting interior continues the congenial welcome, courtesy of double-tall ceilings, skylights and generous use of glass accents. The lobby flows right into the Main Dining Room, a favorite space for receptions—and gazing out the wall of windows, it’s easy to see why! Guests are treated to a panorama of the club’s palm-lined fairways, with flowing brooks and waterfalls embraced by a mountainous skyline. Opposite the windows a long built-in bar affords effortless drink and buffet service for your event. Muted earth tones combined with abstract art convey a modern yet convivial aesthetic. A double-sided hearth on one wall is framed by a marble mantel—but instead of a blazing fire, a cluster of candles sets the romantic mood. Next door is the cocktail lounge, with an extra wall of view-filled windows opening to a small outdoor patio. At the other end of the Dining Room are two adjoining salons dubbed Palm and Valley, where indoor ceremonies enjoy an up-close view of the waterfalls. These spaces can even be opened up to the Dining Room to hold a super-sized gala.
Whatever the length of your guest list, all can be accommodated on the Club’s outdoor ceremony site—an expanse of manicured lawn spreading out like a sea of green velvet. White lawn chairs are set facing a lush grove, and a white arch between two majestic trees awaits your florist’s talents. Above the treetops the jagged silhouette of the San Andreas mountains is a dynamic counterpoint to the clear blue sky.
Palm Valley offers attractively priced wedding packages, including spa and salon options at their on-site facilities. Customized menus are provided with a smile, and the attentive staff will happily arrange add-ons like chair covers and eye-catching ice sculptures. With scenery, service and savings all at one location, Palm Valley is sure to keep their rivals on their toes!

Fees & Deposits
A nonrefundable deposit, which is applied to your food and beverage total, is required to reserve your date. The amount of the deposit is equal to 25% of the estimated event total. 50% is due six months prior, and 100% of the final estimated balance is due 7 days prior to the event date. Meals range $15.99–77.99/person. Tax, alcohol, and a 20% service charge are additional.
