The Old Ranch Country Club enjoys a reputation for being a place that’s easy to get to and easy to work with. With its rambling, comfortable clubhouse, it’s also a place where guests feel right at home. Situated at the northern edge of Orange County, Old Ranch is within a short drive to three airports and several major freeways, making it convenient for local or out-of-state travelers en route to your celebration. And once they arrive, they’ll be able to stay at the new Ayres Suites Hotel located just across the street. The Club offers all-inclusive packages, a wide range of menu selections featuring the best of traditional and California cuisine, and special items to make the kids happy. With its dedicated event staff, including an on-site wedding coordinator, the Club will ensure that your event is joyous and trouble free.
Although Old Ranch has been a members-only venue since its inception in 1967, their new wing of banquet facilities, opened in 2003, is available to non-members for special events. As you enter the lobby of this recent addition, you’re greeted by a huge mural of blue skies, trees and rolling hills—a tableau that mimics the club’s pastoral surroundings. Framed by a stone arch, it provides a dramatic backdrop for photos, as well as a conversation piece for guests socializing here before heading into the spacious reception salon.
Once you’re in the salon, prepare to be delighted by what you see. A wall of floor-to-ceiling windows reveals an expansive view of the recently redesigned golf course and a lake with two lighted fountains. This modern 5,000-square-foot banquet space is large enough to accommodate both a wedding and reception. However, it’s also divisible into three sections, which can be used individually or in combination, depending on the size of your event. Simple coffered ceilings are edged with dark wood beams; potted ficus trees stand sentry at the corners; and an abstract patterned carpet completes the contemporary effect. In the evening, craftsman-style lamps suspended from the ceiling provide soft illumination through marbleized shades. With its casual-yet-refined sensibility, the Club atmosphere invites you and your guests to relax with a glass of chilled Chardonnay as you drink in the landscape. Speaking of the landscape, there are a number of photogenic spots overlooking the fairways with lakes and fountains for some before- or after-ceremony pictures.
Old Ranch is not only conveniently located for your special event, it’s also only a short drive to the beach for some fun in the California Sun. The beach we’re referring to is Seal Beach, a haven for those in search of a laid-back, small town atmosphere. Replete with suntanned surfers, a tree-lined Main Street and a colorful past involving prohibition era speakeasies, the town is packed with seaside delights and history. Between this appealing country club and its friendly coastal neighbor, you’ll find all the elements you need for a wonderful weekend wedding.

Fees & Deposits
A $2,000 deposit is required to reserve your date. The balance is due 8 working days prior to the event. All-inclusive wedding packages range $45–120/person. Tax and service charge are additional. Lower prices may be available at certain times. Call for details. An additional ceremony setup fee includes a rehearsal with the wedding coordinator, arch, runner, 1-hour ceremony, and microphone for the minister.
