Description
Tucked against the hills of the quiet Moraga Valley, Moraga Country Club has been hosting elegant wedding receptions for over 30 years. Mature sycamore and maple trees shade the two-story clubhouse where special events are held in the banquet room upstairs. From within this warm and inviting space, guests have a view of the treetops through picture windows. Potted palms and ceiling fans give the setting a light and airy touch. In the evening, dome lights shine softly below the trestle beams of the venue’s lofty wood ceiling, enhancing the intimacy of the room.
A reception at Moraga Country Club can become an indoor and outdoor affair. Two sets of glass doors at the side of the banquet room open to a covered patio. There, guests are offered a bird’s-eye view of the club’s tennis courts and swimming pool. The carpeted patio can be used for additional dining space, and it also makes a lovely spot for dancing al fresco. Should the weather change, window panels roll down to keep your guests cozy and comfortable. With the dining area, bar and dance floor all close at hand, guest flow easily from one area to the other.
Although Moraga is a private country club, it’s not necessary to be a member. The club provides a beautifully presented sit-down dinner, and welcomes the opportunity to create a custom menu to meet your needs. On the day of your party, the last-minute details are taken care of by the coordinator, who works with your florist and DJ to make sure the room is customized to your event. All you have to do is show up and enjoy the evening.

Fees & Deposits
Rental fees range $75–500 depending on type of event. Luncheons range $16–28/person, dinners $25–50/person. Prices do not include tax, service charge or beverages.
