Description
The distinctive labels that grace Meridian Vineyards’ wine bottles are vibrant interpretations of the Central Coast’s geographic blessings: fertile meadows and oak-clad mountains, coastal breezes and sunny days. These natural charms, coupled with Meridian’s creative, stress-free hospitality, are luring brides to this scenic location in Paso Robles’ burgeoning wine country.Visitors enter via a leisurely driveway that gently climbs past an expansive frieze of grapevines. Up ahead stands the Tasting Room and its patio, shaded by 200-year-old blue oaks, luxuriant foliage and crape myrtle kissed with deep raspberry blooms. The natural stone building harmonizes with the tranquil surroundings, and arched doors trimmed in trumpet vines add rustic character. The patio and its adjoining lawn is a congenial place to stage your social hour. Lounging at bistro tables, guests enjoy appetizers and wine tasting at their ease. Nearby is another sensory treat: a fragrant native garden. Wine glass in hand, guests stroll the meandering paths where lemon verbena, French lavender and autumn sage present an aromatic bouquet, and ornamental plants like feathery ruby grass and berry-tipped manzanita reveal nuances of color and form.
Around the corner from the Tasting Room patio, Meridian’s sprawling Main Event Lawn and adjacent areas offer equally enticing locales. At one of our favorite ceremony sites, the bridal couple exchanges vows in front of a layered backdrop of oak boughs, wild roses, a pond and rows of grapevines against a blue horizon. A beguiling option for an intimate gathering is the Rose Garden, a horseshoe-shaped lawn edged with chiffon-petaled tree roses. From anywhere on the grounds, guests are regaled with phenomenal views of the painterly landscape burnished by the setting sun.
Indoor soirées take on an earthy glamour in the Barrel Chai, a high-ceilinged hall lined with oaken wine casks. A sensual aroma pervades this novel room, and when it’s decorated with icicle lights, floral arrangements and candelabras, the ambiance is simply enchanting. There’s space for 150 guests plus a dance floor, and a double-staircase at one end lets the new Mr. and Mrs. make a formal entrance.
Event hostesses, here’s another benefit: discounts on the vineyard’s exclusive, limited-release wines, which are only available on site. These easy-drinking vintages have been championed by Wine Spectator & Wine Enthusiast as best buys, and Meridian staff will work with you to create delicious wine pairings. In fact, the staff will lavish you with attention, as yours will be the only event for the entire weekend! They’ll also provide an extensive list of local vendors who can help you put all the elements together.

Fees & Deposits
25% of the site rental fee is required to reserve your date. The balance is due 10 days prior to the event. Rental fees range $2,000–4,000 depending on the space rented.
