Description
The Mendocino Hill Event Center is the kind of wine country estate one might envision for oneself: small, secluded, and incredibly inviting. Situated above the unique little town of Hopland in Mendocino County, approximately 100 miles north of San Francisco, the 265-acre ranch contains 60 acres of vineyards and a producing winery. From the event center you have a spectacular panoramic view of vineyards and rolling, tree-covered mountains, with a glimpse of the Russian River in the distance.
When you book your event at Mendocino Hill, you have exclusive use of the property for the entire day. You can host your reception on the decks or patio and spacious lawn area, and use the interior for the buffet setup and cake display, or you can dine indoors and dance on the patio. The Coast Range Hills and Duncan Peak make a lovely backdrop, as do the fountain, small pond, vineyards, numerous colorful flowerbeds, and magnificent oak trees.
The Center’s interior is hard to resist. In the Main Room, gleaming oak floors reflect the light pouring in from an abundance of doors and windows, and the high, peaked redwood ceiling increases the feeling of spaciousness. A pair of French doors opens onto decks overlooking the valley below. Another set leads to a second room with cushioned window seats and tall, wraparound windows with a 180-degree view of the surrounding vineyards and hills. Just off the main room is a professional kitchen with light oak cabinets, granite counters, and a tile floor. Keep the windows open and you’ll feel a gentle breeze throughout the center, no matter how hot the day might be.
Mendocino Hill is ideal for weddings, receptions, family parties such as anniversaries, and business functions like seminars and meetings. And you won’t have to worry about parking—there’s enough space for 100 cars on site.
You’ll find hotel and motel accommodations in the nearby towns of Hopland and Ukiah. Distinctive restaurants, excellent shopping, and sightseeing abound in neighboring Healdsburg, as well.

Fees & Deposits
A $500 nonrefundable rental deposit and signed contract are required to reserve your date. The balance of the rental fee plus a $500 refundable security deposit is payable 30 days prior to your event. Rental fees range $1,500–4,500 based on guest count, day of week and services requested. There are no additional fees for ceremonies on the premises.Availability
