If you think a sports club facility seems like an unlikely venue for a wedding celebration, corporate banquet or other festive affair, you’ve never attended a special occasion at Los Caballeros. Sprawled over seventeen acres in suburban Fountain Valley, the lively Mediterranean-style property has been attracting active families and fitness enthusiasts for 30 years. These days, it’s also attracting brides looking for an alternative to a chapel ceremony or hotel reception that offers fine, full-service catering and event planning. When you have your reception here, your party will enjoy private use of the clubhouse’s upper level. Before saying your vows, you can prepare for being the belle of the ball in a spacious bridal suite outfitted with authentic French Victorian antiques and topiaries. Enhanced by soft lighting and classical music, the ambiance is decidedly feminine and romantic.Both ceremonies and receptions are held in the Terrace Room overlooking the turquoise water of the club’s Olympic-size pool. With its swagged valances and muted décor, the room lends itself to being “dressed up” to reflect the style, colors and mood of your affair. Also easily transformed is the Main Ballroom, where soft beige-striped walls, silk draperies and gold-framed prints of Greek gods contribute to a classic setting for large parties. The central dance floor makes it easy for all your guests to get up and boogie, when your band or DJ cranks up the music.
There’s also a salon on the premises to attend to the hair, nail and makeup needs of bridal parties. And to ensure you’re properly relaxed for your big day, you can make use of tennis, handball, squash, basketball and volleyball courts, as well as aquatic facilities and a state-of-the-art fitness center with saunas and steam rooms, in what is the largest multi-use sports club in California.
Whatever type of event you’re planning at Los Cab, you’ll have the benefit of coordination support and masterful staging by 24 Carrots Catering and Events. From an office situated in the Los Cab clubhouse, the firm’s event specialists provide as much assistance as you like, from creating the perfect menu to complete event planning including rentals, entertainment and floral services. Known for custom theme parties ranging from Hawaiian luaus to New England-style lobster bakes and interactive parties with sushi stations, grilled pizzas and seafood displays, 24 Carrots boasts a client roster highlighted by Hollywood celebrities, White House staff and city officials. All cuisine and presentation is overseen by Chef Norm Bennett, a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, one of the top cooking schools in America.
After an evening in formal attire, you may be tempted to kick off your heels and pull on your bathing suit for a dip in Los Cab’s inviting pool. If staying a while longer is in your game plan, Los Caballeros Sports Village, in which the clubhouse is situated, includes nearly 300 resort-style condominiums for sale, lease and short-term stays.

Fees & Deposits
A $500 deposit is required to reserve your date. Rental fees range $300–2,500 depending on the space rented, and the day and time of the event. Meals range $10–50/person. Tax, alcohol and an 18% service charge are additional.
