Description

The Lark Creek Inn, one of the most popular restaurants in the Bay Area, is a delightful place for a wedding or reception. Built in 1888, this former Victorian country home is nestled in a grove of redwoods, next to a flowing creek. Sunlight filters through trees and windows, warming the tables in the Main Dining Room. Overhead, an enormous skylight creates an open, airy ambiance. Muted colors, rich wood paneling and rotating exhibits of original art complete the tasteful interior. Outdoors, the Creekside Patio is perfect for a romantic outdoor ceremony, and the formal front garden with fountain provides a lovely backdrop for photographs.

The Lark Creek Inn has received national acclaim as well as local restaurant awards, and we have found the food here to be some of the best we’ve ever tasted. Note that the special events manager is available to coordinate all aspects of your party, including rehearsal, ceremony and reception. Add to that the outstanding atmosphere and you’ll understand why your wedding celebration here will receive rave reviews.

CEREMONY CAPACITY: The Creekside Patio holds 120 seated or 150 standing guests. Indoors, the Inn holds up to 50 seated guests.

EVENT/RECEPTION & MEETING CAPACITY: Private rooms hold 24–40 seated or 40–60 standing guests indoors. The patio holds 60 seated or 100 standing outdoors. The entire restaurant, including the patio, can accommodate 180 seated or 300 standing guests.

Fees & Deposits

A nonrefundable deposit of 25% of the food and beverage minimum is required to book your date. Additional deposits may be required with the remaining balance due on the day of the function. Room rental fees are $150 for the Private Dining Room, $225 for the Sunroom, $500 for the Creekside Patio or $750 for the entire restaurant. Food and beverage minimums for the entire restaurant start at $6,000 and vary depending on the day of the week, time of the event and the time of year. Tax, ceremony fees and service fees are additional.

Availability

Year-round, daily. Dinners nightly 5:30pm–11pm, Sunday brunch 10:30am–3:30pm and Saturday lunch 11am–4pm, but you must reserve the entire restaurant. Closed Christmas, New Year’s Day and July 4th.
