Description
The Immanuel Luthern Church held its first services in 1891 and is the oldest Lutheran church west of the Mississippi. Located in charming downtown Alameda, it is one of the East Bay’s hidden treasures for events.
The Reverend Roger Bauer has been on staff at Immanuel since 1981. He has conducted very traditional weddings, vow renewals, commitment ceremonies and has even presided over a wedding on a roller coaster! This well-known community leader welcomes inter-faith, inter-denominational and inter-cultural marriages. All are welcome at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Fees & Deposits
50% of the rental fee is required to reserve your date. The balance is due 10 days prior to the event.
Rental fees range $500–1,250 depending on the space rented. Rental of the Sanctuary is $500.
The services of Rev. Roger Bauer onsite are $250. Rental of the Parish Hall and kitchen is $750. Rental of the Parish Hall exlcuding the kitchen is $500 for up to 6 hours.
Availability
Year-round, 9am–11pm except the first Saturday in October and Sundays before 2pm or church holidays.
