With the largest grand ballroom in the area—a refined, 15,000-square-foot space with beaded chandeliers and soaring eighteen-foot ceilings—this is an exceptional venue for a gala affair. Equally unique is the hotel’s new Garden Pavilion, a $1-million indoor-outdoor facility opened in fall 2005.
A lush walkway fringed by tropical foliage leads guests to the new facility. In a 3,000-square-foot outdoor courtyard ringed by mature banana trees and birds of paradise, they’ll have ample room to socialize before and after your ceremony. You can tie the knot in a decorated gazebo here, or on the Pavilion’s garden terrace. Afterwards, step inside for a spectacular reception. With dome chandeliers and ivory walls, the spacious tent-like structure provides a chic tabula rasa for creating anything from a traditional garden wedding to a Polynesian-themed event. Customize this flexible space any way you like, designing your own floor plan, importing a baby grand piano from the hotel, or adding a photo table to share memorable moments with guests. Everything about the Pavilion, from its private valet booth to its secluded garden ambiance, will make you feel like a VIP.
However you decide to stage your affair, you can count on outstanding food and attention to detail by Regency Caterers. As the Hyatt’s exclusive catering arm, Regency Caterers also choreographs events offsite, at such prime Orange County locations as the Richard Nixon Library, Marconi Museum and the Oak Creek Golf Course, as well as at private homes. Your coordinator at the hotel can discuss these alternatives with you, and provide tours of available facilities.
And, of course, whether you host your event at the Hyatt Regency Irvine or at one of the other venues they cater, you’ll have 22 years of experience and the "Hyatt touch" backing the success of your party. From a customized menu and wedding cake to full facility setup, there are few details that aren’t handled for you. Fees & Deposits
A $2,500 deposit is required to reserve your date. The balance is due 10 days prior to the event. Rental fees range $0–1,000 depending on guest count. If you use the on-site caterer, meals range $65–85/person. Tax, alcohol, and a 22% service charge are additional.
