Haas-Lilienthal House

Description

The Haas-Lilienthal House is a stately gray Victorian located in Pacific Heights, and it’s one of the few houses in the City that remains largely as it was when it was first occupied by the Haas and Lilienthal families in 1886 (they lived in the home until 1972).

Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons, there are tours through this grand home, showing what it was like to live in San Francisco at the turn of the century, and if you like, you can schedule a docent to give you a tour of the house during your event.

The house provides an unusual and intimate environment for weddings. The main floor has thirteen-foot ceilings, two large parlors, a formal dining room and a foyer and hall. Downstairs, there’s a ballroom for larger parties. The interior is very attractive, with subtle colors, Oriental carpets, rich woodwork and many of the original furnishings from the early 1900s. This architectural treasure is very comfortable and warm inside, and would be a most interesting place for your celebration.
